8th IPCE Conference – Verona – Post-Conference Highlights - Elio Mignini

The 8th IPCE has maintained the promises and consolidated the organizational structure and content established and agreed amongst the Italian, Japanese and American cosmetic Associations

We can well represent the IPCE “essence” as a melting pot that feeds and fuses the material and immaterial souls of Cosmetics: Science and Culture

The scientific soul is fueled by the best posters of the last IFSCC Congress, together with master lecturers, responding also to geopolitical criteria

In this edition the Lecturers represented eight Nations from four Continents, and organizations ranging from Ingredient and brand producers, Analytical Labs, Institutions and Universities; the theme “measure and innovate” was covered by many presentations aimed to illustrate how to develop Safe, Pleasant, Effective and Stable (SPES) cosmetics

Therefore we would like to thank the International Committee, who have contributed to select the scientific papers, and all the lecturers, who made possible to reach the high scientific level of this event!

The cultural soul this year was well represented by the wonderful city of Verona (the city of Juliet&Romeo), by the Gala Dinner hosted in the historic residence Palazzo Verità-Poeta, and above all, the chance to assist at the G. Verdi “Nabucco”, an “Opera” masterfully represented at the Verona Arena recently appointed as a UNESCO cultural Heritage!

Now, we are ready to build a new bridge between the IFSCC Congresses (Cannes and Adelaide), which once again will be held in a location chosen according to the constitutive intentions of the IPCE board: an Italian place, possibly a UNESCO cultural heritage site!
